Virtual trauma treatment with a licensed Michigan therapist, at a pace you set.
In-network with BCBS Michigan • Priority Health • Aetna • Cigna • Carelon • Ascension SmartHealth
People delay trauma treatment because what happened to them does not seem to qualify. But the effects that bring someone to therapy — hypervigilance, sleep that will not settle, numbness, reactions that feel disproportionate to what is in front of you — do not track the severity of an event in the way people assume. Sustained conditions can produce them as readily as one acute incident.
What matters clinically is that your nervous system adapted to something, and the adaptation is still running after the situation ended.
The most common fear about trauma therapy is being made to relive the worst thing in detail before you are ready. That is not how this starts. Early sessions focus on stability and on what is happening in your life now.
How much detail you go into, and when, is yours to decide. A therapist who is any good treats pacing as part of the treatment rather than an obstacle to it.
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Priority Health, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Ascension SmartHealth.
Many in-network clients pay approximately $0–$40 per session, depending on plan benefits, deductible, and eligibility. We verify your benefits before care, so you know your cost before your first session. Private pay is $150 per session.
Fill out the intake form and tell us your plan, what you are dealing with, and when you are generally free. We verify your benefits and match you with a licensed Michigan therapist within 24 hours.
If the match is not right, you can switch in one click. No awkward conversation, and no starting the intake over.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room. Online therapy is not emergency care.
