Grow Together Therapy operates out of Wayne County. Macomb is the third county in the Detroit metro and the one furthest from us by road, which is exactly why the virtual model is the honest way to serve it rather than a compromise version of an in-person practice.

Nothing about your care changes with the county you open the session from. Your therapist is licensed in Michigan, your benefits get checked before the first session, and the appointment happens over secure video.

Communities across the county

Macomb County is served by 36 school districts across 35 municipalities. We see clients in Warren, Sterling Heights, Clinton Township, St. Clair Shores, Macomb Township, Shelby Township, Roseville, Mount Clemens, Chesterfield, New Haven, and the communities around them.

Warren and Sterling Heights are the two largest and the two where a drive to a Wayne County office would be least realistic on a weekday. Removing the drive is the point.

What we do not claim here

We have no clinical history inside Macomb County school districts and this page will not suggest we do. If you want us to coordinate with your child's school, we can do that anywhere in Michigan once you sign a release — but the specific district familiarity we describe on the Wayne County page belongs to Wayne County and stays there.

Do you take my insurance?: We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Priority Health, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Ascension SmartHealth. Many in-network clients pay approximately $0–$40 per session, depending on plan benefits, deductible, and eligibility. We verify your benefits before care, so you know your cost before your first session. Private pay is $150 per session. If your plan is not on that list, we are not able to bill it yet — private pay is $150 per session, and we provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement.
Are sessions in person or online?: Both, and neither one is the fallback. The Dearborn office at 3200 Greenfield Road, Suite 300, Dearborn, MI 48120 keeps office hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Appointments are flexible — daytime, evenings, and weekends — in person at the Dearborn office or by secure video across Michigan. For video you must be physically located in Michigan, because your therapist is licensed in Michigan.
Do you have an office in Macomb County?: No, and we are not planning one that we can announce. Sessions are virtual across the county. When in-person availability exists anywhere in the metro, this site will name the location instead of hinting at it.
Can I be seen if I work in Macomb but live elsewhere in Michigan?: Yes. The only requirement is that you are physically located in Michigan during the session, because your therapist holds a Michigan license. Which county you are sitting in does not matter.
