Virtual sessions with a licensed Michigan therapist, serving Downriver Wayne County.
In-network with BCBS Michigan • Priority Health • Aetna • Cigna • Carelon • Ascension SmartHealth
Taylor has an unusually high number of school options for a city its size. Alongside Taylor School District there are four separate academies operating in the city — Trillium, Quest Charter, Taylor Preparatory, and Taylor Exemplar — which is five distinct school systems inside one set of city limits.
For a parent, that means the counseling resources available to your child depend heavily on which building they walk into, and referrals do not follow one standard route. When a teen comes to us from a Taylor school we ask which one, because the answer determines who we would be talking to if you want us coordinating.
You meet your therapist by secure video from anywhere in Michigan. Taylor is also a short drive from our Dearborn office at 3200 Greenfield Road, Suite 300, if you want an in-person hour by appointment.
Taylor is in Wayne County. The Wayne County page covers school coordination and the wider list of communities we serve.
Taylor enrolls about 8,300 students but has only four high schools, and just one — Truman — is a traditional comprehensive public high school. The others are a preparatory academy, a virtual learning academy, and a career and technical center.
For a parent that means the support available around your teenager depends heavily on which of those four they attend, and a virtual academy student may have very little in-building counseling contact at all. We ask which one, and we work with whichever staff exists once you sign a release.
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Priority Health, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Ascension SmartHealth.
Many in-network clients pay approximately $0–$40 per session, depending on plan benefits, deductible, and eligibility. We verify your benefits before care, so you know your cost before your first session. Private pay is $150 per session.
Fill out the intake form and tell us your plan, what you are dealing with, and when you are generally free. We verify your benefits and match you with a licensed Michigan therapist within 24 hours.
If the match is not right, you can switch in one click. No awkward conversation, and no starting the intake over.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room. Online therapy is not emergency care.
